This is an outstanding seller to deal with. Fair prices that are more than reasonable in this economy. The product is even better condition than described, a true value for my money. Packaged and shipped well shows seller has concern for the products he sells to arrive in excellent condition. The seller is friendly and communicates timely with his customers. All in all I highly recommend this seller and would do business again anytime. Thank you and be safe. Good luck to the future.

Tom Selleck as Robert B.Parker's taciturn small town police chief Jesse Stone. Another hit.

Tom Selleck and Robert B. Parker give us the moody, taciturn and very intelligent and likeable Paradise Police Chief, Jesse Stone. This is another success in the series which I wish was a long running tv series, but which is presented in about 10 (so far) made-for-tv movies. Other memorable characters are Suitcase and Rose. Hopefully there will be more to come.

  • Jesse Stone: Sea Change

I bought Sea Change to help complete my collection of the Jesse Stone series. If you get any one from the series, be it Sea Change, or any of the others & like it, you'll want to start your collection also. It's a mellow program, not fast paced, but it passes fast. This series is well written & uses good actors, which makes for a win, win. One refreshing aspect of the show (for me) is that you seldom hear a cuss word. I like seeing Tom Selleck (Jesse Stone)play a serious role, and I like him more now than I ever did as Magnum P.I.. Jesse Stone is a refreshing change from the macho nonsense. Above I rated Jesse Stone: Sea Change as good, though I'd rate it between good to excellent.

  • Tom Selleck shines as the understated Jesse Stone

Robert B. Parker's characters come across as very real people in his many novels, even the super sleuth Spenser and his thuggish companion Hawk are given dramatic weight. Jesse Stone, the alcoholic ex-baseball player turned cop, comes across even more believeable and Selleck's portrayal is very dead on. Stone, after losing his L.A. job, takes the offer to be police chief in a small New England resort town to start his life over. But, he can't escape drinking or his feelings for his cheating ex-wife. The film has been altered from the book somewhat to focus a newly created cold case Jesse gets involved in about a bank robbery and murder of a teller. The original tale involving sexual escapades aboard a yacht during an annual sailing event is still present, but has ...

  • Sea Change

The fourth DVD in which Selleck is cast as the stoic and very human Jesse Stone. If you have read the book, you catch the irony of the title. In previous books Stone encountered or experienced several themes: 1) An ongoing up and down relationship with his ex-wife; 2) A battle with alcoholism; 3) A situation involving frontier justice that renders a bad guy incapacitated and reinforces Stone's approach to police work as "Get 'er done", 4) Encounters with one or two women who make it clear that Stone is the Cop of the Month; 5) At least one juvenile girl whom he befriends; 6) An idiot attorney whose blowhard manner is exceeded only by his or her ego. In this DVD, Stone takes a different tack. The DVD is not faithful to the book in terms of facts but it does indeed ...

  • Great movie with excellent cast

This is a great adaptation of Parker's Jesse Stone books. Very good acting and story line. This is a must for Parker fans.
