    Badger Paint Mixer

It is an easy to use tool that every modeler should have on their shelf. I have used it numerous times now and it has saved me a lot of stirring an shaking time. It is easy to clean and maintain. Not complected, just put in batteries and stir. One thing you have to do is make sure you have the blade in the container before stirring other wise you might have paint flying everywhere. Very easy to keep clean after use. One little draw back is the fact that the stirring creates a lot of fine bubbles in the paint, although they do settle down quickly. Again it is a great product and highly recommended.

Works good but build is china.

The blasé build quality is indicative of being made in china. It will only be used maybe two or three times a month so longevity should not be a problem. The impeller at the end of the shaft works quite well and does not cause splashing. The mix is much better than throwing in a few small SS nuts and shaking for two minutes. This stirrer takes about ten to fifteen seconds to do a thorough mix.

  • Badger paint mixer

Years ago some of my painter friends found miniature battery operated toy kitchen mixers that worked well remixing small bottled paints like you get from Folk Art, Americana and Delta. Unfortunately they didn't last very long. Now that I am retired I am getting back to painting and wished I had one as many of my paints have settled in their bottles, beating on them is tedious and painful to arthritic hands. Finding this on ebay was a happy day for me. It is a little fragile so must be treated with love but it does a good job! Any little dried up bids tend to get wound around the shaft which is actually a good thing, as it makes it easy to remove them while rinsing the shaft and continue. I am happy I found this little treasure and would recommend it to all my painting brothers and ...

  • Perfect Paint Every Time

We use this product on an industrial scale. Being an eBay seller of vintage Testors / Model Master paint we actually take the time to mix each and every bottle of paint we sell to check it for quality before we ship it out to our customers. We have tried other brands, none of them work as well as the Badger. Yes, a really hard settled acrylic paint will stop this mixer dead but it was never designed to handle that kind of paint mixing. It simply does not have enough torque to muscle through it but for most applications it is simply perfect. Here is a tip for all you acrylic paint users out there. If you find your acrylic paint has settled hard at the bottom of your paint bottle, remove the lid, lightly cover with a paper towel and toss it in the microwave for 3-5 seconds. You will find ...

  • A delight to use

Cleans easily in solvent, or water, depending on the paint being stirred. I run the mixer in a jar of water, as soon as I finish stirring the paint, and It usually doesn't need wiping. I have used mine for several months now, and still have the same 2 AA batteries, that I originally started with. It even mixes paint quickly, that has separated from sitting on the shelf for a long time. It does not splatter paint, as long as you submerge the shaft in the paint bottle, before turning it on. This stirrer is fast. It mixes paint thoroughly, in a fraction of the time it takes, for a shaker to do the job, or stirring by hand.
