    Easy to Use

    The Uniden DCX640 handset adds great convenience to the Uniden base device and the 2 handsets that are part of the basic package. We wanted another device in our guest bedroom and this unit is perfect. We were able to easily register it on the home base and program the screen to include the name of the location, etc.

    Great product, will probably buy another one.

    I love this phone system and all of its features and did not want to buy a whole new set of phones when one extension died. I had bought a new battery for the phone, but it still would not hold a charge. This base came quickly, was like brand new and best of all, completely recharged the handset! Thanks you!

    love these phones

    We bought a whole set of these phones. We bought 3. I love that they are small and easy to carry around. However the belt clip does tend to snap off. Don't worry it snaps right back on. There is a function on the phone that allows you to call other phones within your house. This funcion comes in handy when we can't find one. You can also change the ring tones for different callers. For example I set my parents phone number to the song "there's no place like home". I set my husband's cell number to "let me call you sweetheart". This way I know who is calling me even before I see the caller ID. The sound quality is great on these phones.

    This base replaced a defective one that I had. It works great

    Great phone system!

    The comment about not being able to replace a handset if all four slots are full is incorrect. You can still replace a handset if all four slots are full by resetting the whole network. Just go to the phone's "System Reset" menu and select "Replacing Base" and do this with all four handsets. This abandons the old relationship between the base and phones and builds a new relationship allowing you to register all four phones, so you can always replace a phone on your network, even if all four slots are full.
