Nice book, It is a collection of scholarly articles. I bought it mainly for the article on wheellock pistols but there is a number of other articles in there that are interesting Particularly on wheellock and flintlock firearms and phases of their technological evolution but also 16th century French armour styles, renaissance fortress architecture and the conversion of farm tools into weapons to name a few.Nice book, It is a collection of scholarly articles.
