    very informative and well researched and presented history of gretsch drums

    the information I gained from this publication reinforced the experience I went through during the late 1970s in trying to acquire Gretsch drums and parts. living in Rochester NY was not the place to be within the then owners marketing strategy. I now fully know why. Mr Cooks approach to relaying the histories of Gretsch and other books on Rodgers, Ludwig, Slingerland, and Leedy drum companies is both informative and interesting to all drummers.
