    Need to swap for a different cover

    I intended to order a battery cover for a 2012 Volvo s60 but was unaware that it being a T5 would change the cover, well it does, and the cover I bought will not fit. I don't suppose you folk have a cover for a 2012 Volvo S60 T5 that you can swap this one out for?

    Not exactly as advanced.

    Yes, they were generally Volvo parts, ironically from a Volvo dealer selling online. Unfortunately what they say about fitting an 80 ijs not true. Spparently fits the XC 60, XC90, but does not fit the S80 battery Box. so it's misaligned, does not snap in, not secure. So a bit of false advertising about what it covers/fits.

    Perfect

    This part fit perfectly my 2010 Volvo XC60. I speculate that a battery cover is important in order to keep the temperature of the battery down. Without it, which was my case prior, the battery charge voltage would drop over time I assume due to the rising temperature caused by engine heat exposure. Battery is located behind the engine and definitely gets hot without a cover.
