good introduction to Beethoven
Murray Perahia is just beautiful in playing everthing in this soundtrack. particularly the second movement of "Emperor" pinao concerto, i've never heard it played like he did. the sound of this piano does not seem to come from the instrument, it's falling from the heaven and seeping into your heart.
