Perfect size for stove top large burner !!,, Love it that it also has a self basting lid.. Perfect size for us , Something for stews and baking no knead bread and oven safe to 500 degrees.. Most Dutch Ovens in the budget price point can,t say that,,, For under 50.00,, it is a true bargain : )

This Dutch oven by Lodge is not only beautiful, it cooks stews and roasts every bit as well as the more expensive Le Creuset brand. I'm delighted with my purchase and will go on to collect Lodge enameled cast iron cookware. The size is perfect. Couldn't be happier.

Race reviews and we have only made a chuck roast thick cut in it with carrots and potatoes couple seasonings, that was 2 weeks ago and we are all still talking about that dinner!!! That was the best ever we all have ever tasted hands down!!!! Bang for your buck!! I'll take it!!
