An Avenging Angel blows away villains
Some folks don't like this film because it makes the Pitt character a kind of hero, avenging wrongs done to mobsters. Some low lifes rip off card games run by gangsters who seem incapable of seeking their own revenge, needing to hire an expert killer. Lots of dialogue, some brutal action, and a lot of puzzlement as to why certain events take place. Poor Ray Liotta loses his brains in a way completely different from his "Hannibal" movie. This is not a top drawer crime film, but it is entertaining to watch when there's nothing else on TV.Some folks don't like this film because it makes the Pitt character a kind of hero, avenging wrongs done to mobsters. Do not waste one single minute or dollar on this movie!!!
My twin boys who are 34 years and I have loved the movies for decades. You might say that we are consumed by it. We like to share our personal movie reviews with each other and even rate them. So I can honestly say that we have acquired a good sense of what makes a good movie. KILLING THEM SOFTLY however was absolutley the worst movie that I have ever seen. It was a total waste of two hours of my life. I do not know why I had continued to suject myself to the endless volgarity and crappy script. I quess I was hoping for an ending that would compensate for the two wasted hours. It should be re-titled to KILLING ME SOFTLY!!!My twin boys who are 34 years and I have loved the movies for decades. Absolute waste of time.
I bought this video basically because I like Brad Pitt. It was a serious mistake. This low-low budget picture is more like an old snuff film. It revolves around characters who say a curse word eight times in every sentence. I was in the service, so I'm not above cursing myself, but they went way over the top. The only appeal of this film is to see brains fly out on a gory cloud. The dialog is not good, or poor, is is gutter talk the entire film. Much of the so-called action is as night, so they could same money on make-up, scenes etc. I would not recomment this snuff file even to someone I hate!I bought this video basically because I like Brad Pitt.
