  • Fruitcake by Marie Rudisill

An interesting and entertaining little book for those into the history of American cookery and/or Truman Capote's roots. The recipes themselves are often complex and vague and would prove daunting for any cook lacking in actual fruitcake baking experience. They are interesting to study, but I would consult more current recipes for fruitcake to adapt one of these.

  • I 💖 fruitcake.

Great text for thos e of us who enjoy this delightful cake.
