    Big Magic

Great book but she sure does love to talk about herself a lot. Would be an even better book if the reader were actually a writer by trade or reading the book to get some good insights on how to be a successful writer. I thought it would be good for any business owner, but it mainly caters to writers (because that is what she does). Although there are some good concepts that anyone could apply.

  • Top critical review

Didn't care for bad language used

I was so excited to learn of this book, to order this book and to anxiously await its arrival. As I began reading, it seemed to be exactly what I wanted. The words made me take pause, at first, marveling introspectively. Then, I reached the end of page 15 and wondered why someone with such compelling talent would feel he/she needed to use language such as that. After putting the book down, I went and actually read reviews for it in the one star and two star ranges and have decided I'm not going to read further. Definite disappointment.
