  • Read and enjoyed.

Very fun book. Characters are not as deeply developed as I would like, but the book is very visual and cinematic. Fast paced and plenty of imagination stimulating material. This books story does not stand alone, nor does the rest of the books. Plan on reading all the books. The endings of each come a bit abrupt, as if the whole story was written then simply split into 6 separate books. There is loads of pop-culture and mythological references not-so discretely disguised, which kind of threw me off at first. But all in all, I've read the first four books so far, and enjoyed doing so, and that's all that really matters.
