    Oh Boy! It is Harvest Time, and Thrashin' Season has Begun

    The fine black line drawings are exquisite and accurate illustrations. The book tells a rural story, while also explaining about the advent of steam thrashers. While this is a Dakota story, other regions of the USA will easily relate to this history. A very "personable" and informative story, published by David R. Godine, it is a joy to read and study, whether by a senior citizen, mechanic, or a young person wanting to learn about the old days. Recommended.
