  • Fabulous resource for those with significant food allergies

    I bought this book because many family members have significant numbers of allergies and this book makes baking easy by eliminating all of the major allergens. There are many cookbooks available that eliminate gluten but few I've found remove all of the allergens that I'm interested in. Another member of our family has this book and uses it regularly. While visiting her I was able to eat pieces of cake made from a recipe in this cookbook. It was fabulous. As a result of that experience I purchased it to be used as a gift.

    This is a great baking guide for those with multiple food allergies. My son is allergic to wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts, sesame, & most fruits & vegetables. With such restrictions it gets hard to find products without all of these things in them. I'm so glad I'm able to make food with ingredients that he's able to have. I've made vanilla scones & the yellow cake so far. I'll make the chocolate sandwich cookies soon. He's 9 & never had one before because he's always been allergic to one or more of the ingredients.

    I liked very much this book. I work with autism children and most of them are allergic to gluten, casein...I do the recipes and give them to prove. Then I encourage them and their parents to continue with the diet. This book is very complete. You can find very easy recipes and all that you need to do it. Also where to buy some ingredients if you can't found it in your health food.
