    Another Good Read

    Like many people, I first got interested in reading the Vampire Diaries Books because of the TV show. The first 2 books - The Awakening and The Struggle - were a fast read and I really enjoyed them. I decided to buy this book next, and I have to say, I was not really a fan of the The Fury. I love that it started to show another side of Damon - who is my favorite character both on show and in the books - but it's very Bonnie-centric. However,The Dark Reunion was great and left me wanting to read the next installment. If you are a fan of the first 2 books, or of the TV show which is loosely based upon the books, then you will enjoy these 2 as well.

    Awesome series

    L. J. Smith is my favorite author. much to what people say she came out with her vampire books before the twilight series many years before now. Its not a dated series though. I often find myself rereading these books and now there is finally a new book to the series. This series will also be made into a tv series on cw. :) If you liked twilight i am sure you will love this series I know i enjoyed it more than twilight. :P enjoy

    GREAT reading with vampires and drama it is NOT the TV series

    A great read if you like vampires and drama! If you are hoping for more insight into the characters on the TV series named The Vampire Diaries don't bother reading the books. You will be disappointed. If you are looking for a new vampire book series it is WONDERFUL! Just remember not to compare books to TV. L.J. Smith is a GREAT writer and I recommend her books.

    Excellent

    These series are the closest books I have found to Twilight. They really are a page turner. I have read all four books in about week and a half. The concept of love is the same as Twilight but the Vampire Series are a little bit more of mystery. Either way I recommend these books.
