About this product

Product Information

Detective Eve Dallas searches the darkest corners of Manhattan for an elusive killer with a passion for collecting soulsin this novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling In Death series. On one of the city's hottest nights, New York Police Lieutenant Eve Dallas is sent to Central Park--and into a hellish new investigation. The victim is found on the rocks, just above the still, dark water of the lake. Around her neck is a single red ribbon. Her hands are posed, as if in prayer. But it is the eyes--removed with the precision of a surgeon--that have Dallas most alarmed. As more bodies turn up, each with the same defining scars, Eve is frantic for answers. Against her instincts, she accepts help from a psychic who offers one vision after another--each with shockingly accurate details of the murders. And when partner and friend Peabody is badly injured after escaping an attack, the stakes are raised. Are the eyes a symbol? A twisted religious ritual? A souvenir? With help from her husband, Roarke, Dallas must uncover the killer's motivation before another vision becomes another nightmare...

  • Visions in Death by J. D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts)

Visions in Death is a typical J. D. Robb entry in her ----in Death Series starring Lieutenant Eve Dallas in mid-21st Century New York law enforcement. It does not disappoint. It handles some topics of current interest: a serial killer and whether mediums should aid in police work. It has the expected juicy romantic interludes with high-roller husband Roarke, a deepening relationship with her partner and developing friend Detective Delia Peabody, and the great sarcastic barbs aficionados have come to expect. There is also a surprise twist. You will not be disappointed with this mystery.

  • I love the 'In Death' series by JD Robb (Nora Roberts). Great book.

The JD Robb (Nora Roberts) 'In Death' series is a futuristic take on romantic murder/mystery. I love the entire JD Robb (Nora Roberts) 'In Death' series. I love the characters; their interactions, the futuristic view and the murder mystery. This series is an on-going story from book to book. I love that. It's still Nora Roberts at her best; just another side of her writing creativity.

  • Good book

    I enjoyed it

  • Great writer

I fully enjoy reading every book Nora Roberts writes as JD Robb and several of the Nora Roberts books are great as well. She is awesome about details but not so much they put you to sleep, just enough that you can picture exactly what the people in the book are seeing. I haven't come across a bad one yet always intrigue,a little romance but not to much.

  • Awesome series by JD Robb

There aren't enough good things to say about this series! The characters are awesome and after reading the whole series they feel like family! You laugh and cry with them all! Excellent reading! I bought this book to complete my collection so I could read them again and again! My friends are also borrowing them and are hooked too!
