Even more; his musings on many of the minor events of his life demonstrate his character. The volume highlights his complex perspectives on varied subjects. It seems to be completely uncensored; displaying his positive and negative character traits. Regardless of political affiliation, this book can illuminate many of the considerations leading to the greatest triumphs and failures of our time. Certainly Ronald Reagan became one of our most revered leaders. His triumphs in foreign policy, economic growth, and other areas are in many cases; derived directly from these entries. His thoughts and musings demonstrate an articulate, informed leader in many areas. However, his ... Good memories
These diaries bring you back to a wonderful time when a President held to his basic moral principles instead of bowing to popular opinion. Doing what you know to be right is not always the easy road. I felt this book was overly abridged and far too short. I still recommennt as an insight to this great leader. God bless.

the Reagan Diaries
It put a human face to the man who was a great president. It showed how much he loved his wife and had the same concerns as us "Normal" people. Since I usually read and don't listen to books, it was a new experience. I found myself having to go back to relisten to some of the same chapters.I would recommend this to others and will probably get more books on tape

What an appropriate time to listen to the words of wisdom of President Ronald Reagan! It will make you wish they still made presidents like him!! Excellent recording of excerpts from the book of compiled diary entries of our 40th president! I highly recommend this three-CD set!
