About this product

Product Information

May Anna Kovacks was discovered on the dustry streets of Butte, Montana and went on to become a Hollywood star. War, fame, marriage, love, and heartbreak came and went. What never changed was the bond she shared with her two best friends, Effa Commander and Whippy Bird. When scandal, murder, and betrayal made a legend of May Anna, only Effa and Whippy Bird could set the record straight.

  • FROM MONTANA TO HOLLYWOOD AND BACK AGAIN...

This fast-paced book reads like a mini-series and speeds on by while May Anna, Effa,Whippy Bird, Buster and the entire gang enjoy some crazy adventures. May Anna is discovered and becomes a big Hollywood contender and her true love, Buster, champion boxer takes the fall for a murder he didn't commit to protect her. Sounds like the typical Hollywood scandal? But back in Butte, Montana the real hearts of the story, Effa and Whippy Bird (the storytellers) keep their own lives going through World War 2 and beyond. I missed the characters when the book ended. Sadness, happiness and everything in between.

  • great title

  • Buster Midnight's Cafe

This is a fun book about enduring friendships and love. It is both humorous and touching. I bought the book because I had read a library copy and liked it so much, I wanted my own to share with my friends.
