    Cinematography of Light Storytelling

    I’m a cinematographer now and I grew up watching this show...plus I also worked with Martin Landau so great to revisit. Also perfect timing to kill time during the virus pandemic. Love looking at cinematographer Frank Watts BSC lighting on this series ... very heavy use of lighting to tell the story ... worth watching!

    I wish there were more to this television show, but only 2 years running. The special effects were dazzling 3D like in dimensional settings, and kind of like panoramic. A very popular series when it was new and shown on TV. It reminds me of a prelude to STAR WARS in design.

    A groundbreaking series for its time

    I was a huge fan of Space 1999 when it first aired. The production value was extremely high for a television series. This boxed set includes all the episodes from its two year run, plus interesting behind the scenes interviews and featurettes.

    Ship off to Moon base Alpha once more.

    While not in wide screen it is still a fantastic set of a great, classic TV sci-fi show.love the interview with a couple of the shows main characters (great to see them again). highly recommend it.
