    A fairly well written insight to daily during the year 1000 AD.

    An interesting presentation of first year of the first millenium. The author however sometimes strays in his thoughts, this straying at times makes it difficult to stay with his aim.

    Enjoyable, interesting book!

    An interesting, enjoyable book to read. It brings history for the year 1000 to life! It is surprising how much we still have in common with those long ago people! I recommend this book to anyone interested in how life was in the first millenium.
