Chill work from two of the best at what they do. Kurihara is a pro at making the guitar cry. The result is a real soulful set of songs.

Great Boris/Kurihara collaboration
The track "Rainbow" is what entranced me and convinced me to buy this album. It is still my favourite track, although Sweet No. 1 is pretty beautiful in its own right. This is really one of those albums which should be listened to in its entirety, from start to finish. All the songs "fit" and maintain a certain higher-than-the-ground aura throughout. I recommend this track to anyone seeking calm-inducing rock which is laced with mind-blowing fuzz solos! (And to no one else.) There are Japanese lyrics but the booklet comes with translations, so don't let that put you off. Boris sticks to fairly conventional playing (compared to their epic dronefests) as the set piece for Michio Kurihara's Vibrola SG to cut through, like the truth appearing in ...
