      Not really a dimmer, just a LOW and HIGH switch

      This device works well but it is not a continuous dimmer, it has just three levels: zero, medium, high. If you need a real dimmer I guess you have to spend a little more.

      Excellent Fit and Function

      The product was exactly as posted and works perfectly in our pole light. It was easy to install and looked like an exact replica of the original one.       This is a 3-way switch not a dimmer.

      LO setting makes it a 3-way switch, not a dimmer. Dimmers and 3-way switches are established categories for about zillion years now. The fact that LO setting makes your light dimmer doesn't make this device a dimmer - it makes it a 3-way switch.
