About this product

Product Information

In Freedom, Love, and Action, Krishnamurti points to a state of total awareness beyond mental processes. With his characteristic engaging, candid approach, Krishnamurti discusses such topics as the importance of setting the mind free from its own conditioning; the possibility of finding enlightenment in everyday activities; the inseparability of freedom, love, and action; and why it is best to love without attachment.

  • An excellent and inspiring work of philosophy.

I was first attracted to the book through my study of Jeet Kune Do, and the philosophical viewpoints of Bruce Lee. Krishnamurti had a great influence on Lee during his recovery from his back injury, and along with other religious texts, he completely changed his viewpoint on the relational workings of human beings. I personally have no trouble seeing the great value that Lee found in the text, and within the first chapter alone, I was finding myself enlightened and questioning beliefs that I have held for years, and I find myself better off for it. I highly recommend this book to anyone searching for wisdom or guidance, or for any student of philosophy or religion as well. It was a greatly satisfying book, and I can only hope that more may come to see the wisdom within it.
