  • Roger Moore Takes On Bond

Live and Let Die looks great on Blu-ray and includes some good, if not amazing, extras. This film features the best looking Bond-girl ever, Jane Seymore, looking amazingly great, and early on, has Madeline Smith (the star of The Vampire Lovers if you'd like to see a lot more of her, literally) also looking wonderful, albeit only in the short opening sequence. The villains here are all black, which makes the film a bit controversial, but so was the novel on which it was based. There is a great mix of comedy, action, and adventure. It's not one of the great Bonds, but it may be Moore's best, since his interpretation of the part grew ever more comic at the expense of seriousness as his films went on. Thank goodness for Daniel Craig's return to Bond as a man with a dark side to be feared. ...

  • Probably the funniest of the Bond movies, well recorded

Very humorous script, with some racial /ethnical and occult undertones. Great action scenes as well. blu ray video was excellent, well-packaged and shipped.

  • For what I paid, I won't complain. It was worth what I paid.

I bought Live and Let die, to compare it to the book. The movie was good, it just didn't follow the book at all. All of the characters from the book were the same and that was it. Totally different story and setting. I also didn't care much for Roger Moore's version of Bond. The blu-ray hd version of the movie was great. The picture looked amazing, for a movie made in the 70's.

  • Good Value fort the price.

Good value for the price. Enjoyed the radio program many years ago.

  • Moore...Roger Moore

Roger Moore steps into the role of 007 for the first time in this excellent adventure. This one has it all-voodoo,Yaphett Kotto, hot Jane Seymour, witty one-liners and best of all classic 70's blaxploitation thrown in! What more could you want from a Bond film. Oh yeah, a cool opening theme song. What a way for the best Bond ever to start his gig.
