    Leica Elmarit R 35mm f/2 3 cam lens.

    I've had several versions of this lens over the last 30 years and they were all stellar performers. This last version with the built-in lens hood is the sharpest of all. I use it for my standard lens. It's rendering is almost 3 dimensional! The colors are true to life. I love it!

    Leica Cron 35/2

    Some say this is the best MF 35mm, at least in the f2.0 category. This must be up there among the best of the even the modern day AF 35mm. The resolution and colour rendering is excellent even when wide open. It is consistent across all aperture. It is a small and well built lens. I went for the rom version so as to ensure that it is the latest. The rom doesn't serve anything unless when used on a Leica R camera. It just indicates that it is the latest version of the 11339 version.

    Excellent

    Still expensive for a used lens (All ROM R lenses are unfortunately). These lenses have not got the latest coating and are subject to more flare than current lenses (even far cheaper ones).

    Awesome lens!!

    it works perfectly with my Canon 5D II with an adapter(Leica R - EOS). it is very light and with internal hood, so it is very handy. Also it produces good quality of pictures.. way better than Canon!
