    The Yam Yankee by Douglas Congdon-Martin, Tom Wolfe

    This book is great for step-by-step directions to carving sweet potatoes (yams). If you like the apple carving art, you will like this as well. The shape of the yams give more unusual end results to your carvings. The carvings are made and then dried, creating shapes somewhat of its own accord because of the shape of each individual yam and the drying time. I can't wait to try my hand at it!
