Legendary coaches such as Francis Schmidt, Henry Frnka, Glenn Dobbs and John Cooper have led the Golden Hurricane to 521 victories and 59 winning seasons.     Hurricane football

    There should have been more about the Dry years since he was the coach that revived the program and kept it alive in the 70's when the board of trustees tried to drop the program. He was also the one who got them out of deep debt and put turf on the field. He also has coached more all americans there than any other coach. also it would have been nice if they had listed all the all americans with pictures ...they have them in the coach's office at TU. Also F.A. put in the west coast offense in the 60's....the offense that everyone is trying to claim as their own now.

    Much better book on Tulsa football by Kiper.

    Mainly just pictures from the Sports Information Office at Tulsa University. Much better book available from Tulsa University bookstore than this 'throw some pictures together' book.
