    The best basic introduction I have ever read of this historic aircraft

    When I first got this book I was surprised at it's small size.Knowing however that it was written by Heinz Nowarra,one of the world's foremost experts on WW2 German fighters,gave me much confidence and the book did not dissapoint.It is the best basic summary I have ever read on the FW 190,which is alomg with the JU 88,one of the two most useful aircraft ever fielded by the Luftwaffe and ONE OF THE BEST fighters and close support aircraft of WW2.The book's language is simple and straightforward yet somehow it manages to include a surprising amount of detailed information on various aspects of the aircraft.If you are looking for a basic introduction to this historic aircraft,written in an accessible manner yet respecting the readers curiousity and intelligence,before you buy one of the ...
