    Worth it !

    I picked up this older MacBook Pro with the intention of upgrading it. As purchased, the computer had a regular hard drive which was slow. We’ve installed a new SSD and are waiting for a new battery to arrive. The computer isn’t as fast as a new Mac, but it’s working well for our needs.

    The Last Of It's Kind, And Still Runs Like A Beast A Decade After Release

    This old "Build to Order" Unibody 2.93 GHZ MacBook Pro is still powerful, fast, and very upgradable. I changed out the substantial factory 4G RAM and 320G hard drive for 8G RAM and a 1T SSD for 250.00 and an hour of video research and hands on work and I'd never seen the inside of a computer. Find a late 2008, 2.93 GHZ with a decent unibody case and save thousands!

    MacBook Pro, in my estimation, is the best Notebook out there.

    I am so happy with my MacBook Pro, Apple's Operating System is so far above all others. I always used Windows before, but now I would never leave Apple's side. The MacBook Pro is so light and portable, so easy to use and so fast. I absolutely love it, love it, love it.. Great buy !!!!!!

    New to Mac and happy

    This is my first MacBook. I bought an older model to save money. The system runs a bit slow at times, but faster still from when I first purchased, once I upgraded the hard drive. Next I will upgrade the RAM. Having this computer has changed my outlook on MacBook's, where at first I was hesitant, now I know I won't turn to anything else.
