    "Outstanding reel history, identification, evaluation and maintenance"

    A wonderful book on Antique and Collectible fishing reels. Nicely written. Excellent black and white photos of reels. A reel value chart covering most common reels is given in the back. The text is a mountain of technical information on reels. This book took a great deal of research and layout. One of my very favorites!

    book review

    This bookm is a great reference book and has lots of reels and a good price guide also. i receomend this book. I i see this book often used to new from 40 dollers to 160 dollers.

    Antique and Collectable Fishing Reels

    Although this is a new book it is over 8 years old and was a disappointment to my wife and I. Our main purpose in purchasing the book was to evaluate the value of our antique fishing reels. The book is useful to identify the reels but gives an outdated value. If I had known the age of the book I would not have purchased it. It is misleading.

    Antique & Collectible Fishing Reels

    I've seen this book once back in the mid 70's, when I got into fishing. Then I started to collect old Hawaiian style fishing rods and old vintage reels. So the book become a must have item. It tell's about the function, patents, and how to grade thier value as to the condition of the reel. There is nothing to dislike about this book.
