The Green Mile
Stephen King is 2nd on my list of all time greatest authors ( First is Dean Koontz ), I just wish he could write a book a week, Then I wouldnt have to keep waiting for the next one to come out. Im not going to go into details about the book as if you are like me, I prefer to not know anything untill I start reading about it in the book, I have read most of his books so far and I love them all. So as you can probably guess from what I wrote above, I highly Recomend this book. Stephen King Fan for years!
If you've seen the fantastic movie, you have to read the book - I wouldn't hesitate to say that if you've seen ANY movie based on a SK novel you really MUST read the book for the full story. Very few of the films made from his stories are actually worth watching, there's far too much going on in the characters' heads for it all to translate well. That said, this book is no exception to the book-is-better rule (even though THIS particular movie was awesome). It is so rich and the people seem more like living beings than ink on paper. Read It Twice
A great story with a lot of twists. It is a good story that will touch your heart. It is about an innocent man on death row and what it would be like in the day to day activities and interaction of the guards and prisoners. Well worth adding to your collection. This book also makes you look at life a different way. A define good read.
