About this product

Product Information

ABC's popular and enigmatic drama comes to gamers in the form of Lost: Via Domus, although series fans looking for answers to the show's mysteries may be out of luck. While the plot of Via Domus intertwines with that of the first two seasons of Lost, the main character is a previously unseen Oceanic 815 survivor named Elliot, and, due to a bad case of amnesia, even Elliot doesn't know who he is. In true Lost style, playable flashbacks let gamers help him piece together his memory, and the game is handled episodically, with each chapter featuring a recap and a mini-cliffhanger.

More adventure than action, Via Domus often finds Elliot solving puzzles, like helping Jack stem the flow of jet fuel from the plane or tinkering with fuseboxes to open doors. Elliot, a photojournalist, can take pictures throughout the game as well, and will be required to do so during flashbacks in order to piece together events leading up to his arrival on the island. However, fits of action do come in the form of frenzied escapes from the frighteningly powerful Black Smoke and dodging bullets fired by the Others. Gamers must also barter goods with many of the show's mainstays, and exploring familiar locations like the Swan Station and the Black Rock will help players unravel Elliot's mysterious story, and bring him one step close to finding a way home.

The console arrived very well packaged in a sturdy box with a lot of bubble wrap however due to gross mishandling by UPS the console and controller arrived crushed. I reached out to the seller and he was very prompt to reply with a solution. Within a week he refurbished a replacement console which I traded for the damaged one and it works flawlessly, exactly as described. The seller is very friendly and honest, and I would absolutely recommend buying from him. He stands behind his products.

This might be the best and most professional seller I had business with! Excellent communication as I had multiple questions that were answered quickly the same day. I even requested if it's possible to get a specific model of the PS1, and the seller had it refurbished and ready to ship in 24 hours, with pictures and everything! My PS1 arrived quickly, safely packaged and working perfectly. I will 100% be buying more consoles and accessories from this shop. Now time to dive back in my childhood!

this is where excellence meets expedience ~ product is precisely as described and arrived in a timely fashion packed with great care.. Kudos to this Seller for going above and beyond with this order, taking the initiative to make changes which fit our needs pertaining to items purchase so all would run smoothly upon receipt ~ if we were to have any suggestion; it would be for eBay to have this Seller's standards be where the bar is set. ABD Trade has their stuff together, top shelf stuff.. Ta!

Good for fans of the show.

Objectively, as a game, this one is just ok. However fans of the TV series might find something to like here. It's fun getting to explore the dharma stations and solve puzzles. The puzzles are of reasonable difficulty in my opinion, not too easy or too hard. Controls are just ok. The inventory menu is poorly designed. Plus if you have a full inventory and you drop something because you want to pick something else up you should walk away , then drop the item, then return, otherwise it can be hard because the game seems to insist that you want to pick up the item you just dropped instead of the new one. The voice acting is generally pretty terrible. Locke is probably the worst, sounding very different from his character on the show. Its too bad they didnt get the real actors to do the ...

  • Lost: Via Domus (Playstation 3)

This game is not really what I expected, Dont get me wrong it is a alright game but not the best. The game looks good but the story really has nothing to do with the "Lost" story line, You are on the island and the other survivors are there but its just not the same and the voice overs for them are by other people who dont even sound like the cast from "Lost". I found the "puzzles" from the start are very confusing and the help button that is there for you to use is useless. If you take your time some of the puzzles can be solved pretty easy, They are just confusing...And what ever you do! Dont get caught in the caves without a torch or lantern they get very confusing and you will find yourself right back where you started from. But if your are a true "Lost" fan I think you can get into ...

  • Fans of LOST may get a kick out of it for a while!

I bought this PS3 game for two reasons. First of all, I love the TV series LOST! Secondly, this game was CHEAP. You should never have to pay more than about $15-$20 (including shipping) for this game new, usually less! That being said, this game is still not the most exciting game out there. The graphics are fine. The fact that all of the original actors voice their own characters is nice. The gameplay, however, is so-so. For a role-playing game (of sorts) the controls are a little clunky and not as smooth as one would hope. This is certainly NOT an action game. You walk around the island, perform small tasks, find people and clues, and you decide what questions to ask them. In summary, if you are a fan of LOST you will love the fact that it immerses you in the story to the point where ...

  • An old gem

The lost video game is based off of the show lost. You have you're own survivor and you must survive the many challenges that come. The game is a chapter by chapter game meaning there will be recaps. The game also has plenty of puzzles for you to work with. All together a great game.

  • Lost: A Way Home....?

If you follow the show then you might just get a kick. You play as a new character but you also interact with just about everyone on the show, which is cool, but some of the acting is pretty bad and not the real actors- there are some like michael emerson and henry ian cusick. You also get to explore some locations seen through season 3 like the hatch and the black rock and some of the scenes are pretty cool like when the plane breaks apart-cool hd graphics. The game is really short and isnt so much to do, but a lost fan will like get lost again with a twist at the end. maybe they might throw something like that in season 6? throw down losties 6.7-7.2 anyone else 3.0
