Unfortunately it was not the compression dog on the cam that was the engines problem. I did notice that the dog ( what ever it’s called ). Was not as heavily built as the original equipment.

Buyer beware, camshaft is not hardened. Ran motor for couple of minutes and started making strange noise. Disassembled engine and found out the camshaft was ground down like it was put against a grinding stone on a grinder. If you buy one be sure that you put in some oil that has zinc in it. That is what you would do if you were putting a new cam shaft in a car engine.
