    12 Ed Bruce Classics

    You know, I ran into Ed Bruce's FIRST TASTE OF TEXAS originally. I am quite a collector and desired that number, especially. I wandered the availables and found one including that title. Wouldn't you know, the title was not on the cd. This Ed Bruce listing was at the top of the selections, and, yes, my title was there plus other really special ones Bruce has done. The cd is playing long and well. It has come to be one of my favorites. I am glad to rate this one a double plus.

    Not The Original Recordings

    The seller could not have known that this CD has redone songs from Ed Bruce. His original material was on RCA but this CD was from a different company, and the recordings were from a much older Ed Bruce rather than the stuff he did in the mid-80s. The quality itself is fine and it's listenable enough, but for someone who knows country and for someone like me who used to play his stuff on a country station, I know an original from a redo. Someday I hope to find a CD of his with his original hits. His warm sound from his original hits such as "Ever Never Loving You" and "After All" should be from the original masters put to CD for the rest of us to enjoy.

    Love his voice. The history of Ed Bruce is interesting. If he would of leaned more to his music. His name would of been more recognized. This is a great cd of Ed Bruce. I have more on order.

    Classic Ed Bruce

    This is the first time I have heard Ed Bruce sing although I’m familiar with his songs. Very good CD that I highly recommend for all who like smooth old school ballads.
