This item was listed as BRAND NEW but clearly not. I think it was more likely an item that was returned to the store; open box. The box had been previously opened with cardboard inside, clearly not belonging to the item. It was missing a rubber foot on the bottom of the unit that caused it to sit lopsided. I did contact the seller that sent me the missing piece. Shipping took an excessive amount of time.

    Great product

    I bought this coffee pot for the soul purpose of using it during deer season because we don't have electric in the hunting cabin & I didn't want to start a camp fire to use my percolator pot, & I have ended up using it on every camping trip. I would recommend buying the carry case for it also

    Poorly made, was leaking ... had to fix leaky hose, but worked after that. Full resevoir only provides a half pot of coffee. Yo

    Although it is now working, when I first tried to use it it leaked all over as soon as I put water in the reservoir. Turned out to be a leaking hose inside the unit. I had to take it apart and repair it to get it working. Once working it worked O.K. I guess. It takes longer than an electric coffee maker and you need to fill resevoir twice to get a full pot.

    Perfect for camping

    What a delight to have a good cup of coffee in the middle of nowhere. Easy is it can be to use and it makes coffee just as quickly as an electric would. Based on how you plan to transport it, I would say you need to get the metal carafe. I have already broken mine......
