Hi, Just thought you might be interested...I've had the compass since I was about 6 years old. My uncle gave it to me and at this point I've no-one to pass it on to. My uncle's name was Sam Pollach he was the top turret gunner/flight engineer on the B-24J Liberator named the Sky Scow. 7th Air Force, 30th Heavy Bombardment Group, 27th Bomb Squadron...he served in the Pacific from 1942 flying on bombing missions throughout the war until the Liberator groups were relieved by the B-29 Groups.
