    Corrupts New Seagate Drives

    Kills drives. I am about to destroy this enclosure after 1 year of attempted use. Item 1: It doesn’t let you unmount drives. As soon as they spin down, they unaccountably spin up again, causing users to have to force-quit the unit. Item 2: In 12 months of use, I have encountered the complete failure of 3 out of 4 brand new Seagate SATA drives in this enclosure. After a year of troubleshooting and repeated drive deaths, this enclosure has emerged as the culprit. Chinese junk!

    Nothing fancy but does the job

    Requires a small Phillips screwdriver to open the enclosure. Fan is quiet, works well under Windows 10.
