    The best sound card of all time

    This is the only X-Fi sound card with Windows 10 ready drivers. The X-Fi processor family, featured on Creative Audigy, X-Fi, and Auzentech sound cards, is the only one capable of true hardware accelerated sound. Thus it is the only sound card DSP that actually provides improvements over software acceleration (e.g. built-in software acceleration in games that have it, or OpenAL Soft), and those improvements are massive. Only games using the OpenAL or DirectSound3D sound API (the latter must be converted to OpenAL on Windows Vista and above, using Creative ALchemy) offer these improvements, but this means almost all PC games from the late 1990s to the late 2000s allow sound cards like this one to shine.     just a great product nothing better.

    this card is really good card, not any better than the last ones but good. if you want to add 3.5 mm surround sound u need the accessory's for it. the coaxial is the toslink in one. the toslink is a long piece at one end to connect it to coaxial. and other end is short. i tried to play this with battlefield 3 in dolby digital live but does not work, i cant even play a song from itunes when this is enabled. its not the card its the game it self. i can play dvd movies just fine in full surround sound.

    Great sound card!

    Creative's last X-fi series card with Open AL. Tested it out, works great with the Windows Ten and all the EAX environmental sound worked great! Alchemy also works to get direct sound functionality for older games.

    Very good sound quality for listening to music! Much better than on board audio. Creative software also have many useful functions for different applications. Overaall, a 5 star sound card.

    Very Good Soundcard

    This card sounds very amazing, can go up to 192k out and 96k in. The ASIO is hot garbage but you don't need it to enjoy it. Has EAX support which means it can support EAX games., obviously. The adc is also very good and clean. One drawback is that it can't do native DSD. This card is still at the top of soundcards today, even though this card is from 2010-2012, amazing! This card is better than the Soundblaster Z. If you can find this card under $80, its a steal! An oldie but a fantastic goodie
