This item was listed as BRAND NEW but clearly not. I think it was more likely an item that was returned to the store; open box. The box had been previously opened with cardboard inside, clearly not belonging to the item. It was missing a rubber foot on the bottom of the unit that caused it to sit lopsided. I did contact the seller that sent me the missing piece. Shipping took an excessive amount of time.

    Perfect for portable setup.

    Eliminates the long coil of power cable not needed in a portable setup. Would be nice if Garmin came up with a shorter version of the comm cable that goes between the black box and the fish finder.
