This Fitzgerald classic is readable over and over! A great look at the Roaring 20s and a comment on the privilaged who had their own set of rules. Proof that money doesn't bring happiness. However, it is also proof that you can't forget morality, integrity and manners! One interesting point I have seen is that many authors have used the background story of Gatsby to enhance their books. To me that is very interesting and usually a reason to reread Gatsby!

  • The Great Gatsby is a classic, but this copy was not in good condition.

It was in a very poor condition. Used and old looking

  • The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (1984, Paperbac

Not as romantized as Hollywood's Redford/Farrow movie, but a great story which brings to light that wealth isn't everything also the depth of a person should be the primary interest in any relationship.
