This item was listed as BRAND NEW but clearly not. I think it was more likely an item that was returned to the store; open box. The box had been previously opened with cardboard inside, clearly not belonging to the item. It was missing a rubber foot on the bottom of the unit that caused it to sit lopsided. I did contact the seller that sent me the missing piece. Shipping took an excessive amount of time.

    Heads or tails.

    I bought this unit as is with problems. I wanted parts or a fixable core. Sadly , it was good for neither as it was burnt up pretty bad. Some times you win, sometimes you lose in buying in this state. It was my choice and I will keep trying.

    Fantastic circuit design but the plastic case is terrible

    One of the best Inverters on the market but it has one major flaw. It will survive lots of electrical problems and just error out and can be reset. Mine has been going strong for 8 years. The big problem is that after about 6-8 years the plastic becomes as brittle as an egg shell and the whole back and front can just crumble when you just lift the unit. Prosine still makes these units today and the plastic appears to be the same.
