Not very impressed with the item. It was not packaged the best, and I pulled it out, installed it, and the disk motor would not spin. I put the old one back in and the disk motor worked fine (just needed new lense). The one I was sent was defective.

PS1 laser replacement would not spin without getting obstructed by the screws that hold the spindle in the device. Once I was able to get the spindle to spin freely, it still did not work or read discs. Very frustrating situation.
