Good price, good communication, good seller A++++ Item was smashed in shipment and it was the only one available. I was offered a choice of a refund or to wait until a backordered supply comes in. I chose refund and they refunded the payment without a problem.

    Time will tell

Bought this to replace a Fantech fan that had run 10-years but was making lots of noise. The new RadonAway fan provided similar suction, ran with similar power consumption but was much quieter than the older Fantech unit. Time will tell if it lasts as long as the original Fantech unit. One thing that is important to note: I needed to buy different PCV mating pieces because they were different than what was on the original Fantech unit. These components were readily available for under $15 at The Home Depot and Lowes. Your installation may vary. By doing the replacement myself, it cost me less than half of what the Radon Mitigation company would have charged me. The job took less than 1 hour, not including the trip to get PVC parts.

  • DIY Radon Mitigation

having had a radon tester installed for over 3 months giving a reading of 4.5pic/l I decided to do my own mitigation having looked at the cost to have a service company do it ($2k-$2.5k). I spent a lot of time online educating myself on the do's and don'ts and ordered this fan and other needed components for the job. I purchased the tubing and elbows required at Home depot and went to work installing the draw tube in my sump well. This fan is drawing about 1" of vacuum and seems to be spot on for the requirement. I may install a second unit in the unfinished part of my basement to insure I am getting more radon exiting the home and it will be this same fan.

  • Good product

I replaced it with my old one which has stopped running after derby birds stuck in it. I report by myself and was easy job. It took 20 min for me to replace. Very quiet and immediately drop the radon reading. Working good so far.
