    Being as old as it is; this camera is in very good shape-almost as clean as the camera my son just broke. Needed a camera to play old tapes & for my college-aged son to record his escapades-this fits the bill.

    I am 85, have low vision and in poor health. I purchased the handycam to replace my CCDTR5 which was beyond repair. The handycam did not come with a manual. I finally found a web site to download/print the 70 page manual for $4.50. I only had to go to page 10 to find out the camera was not working. The green knob will not go into camera mode.     Precious family memories

    the camera works perfectly and I was able to transfer all my aunt's tapes onto DVD for her. And now I have the camera in case anybody else needs old tapes transferred. Using a transfer service would have cost me a small fortune. She's thrilled to have these precious family memories preserved.
