        An Interesting Book

The book was very interesting and told of all the numerous bands/groups Eric Clapton was involved with through the years of his career. I wish he would have talked more about his feelings of all of his many, many relationships and not just his marriages. I really enjoyed the book - well written.

      • An interesting look into a Guitar Hero's personal and professional life

I loved reading Eric Clapton's Autobiography and it was inspirational in many ways. I have been a fan of EC's music since childhood and his music has served as an inspiration to my own musical career. Reading about how EC's life influences helped to create his music in his own words was very interesting. Prior to reading this book, I was not aware of how closely EC and other music icons of the day were in contact both musically and personally. I've heard some of the stories he told before, but not in such detail. The stories seemed sincere and when the story was not pretty, he didn't hold back in informing the reader that he made mistakes. When describing his success, he does it in a way that is not overly boastful. When you have had success and excess like EC has had, it would be ...

      • Fantastic autobiography.

Eric Clapton is a real icon in the music world and his story of how he has gotten to where he is now is second to none. What an evolution!

      • Great Read...If you're a rock fan, try it you'll like it!!.

I've read a lot of Rock star books. This one is one of the best. He tells you what his life has been like and it's very interesting. Rock stars have more prestige than any other avocation, face it, they are adored. And that makes it all the more interesting to read about that life. I think Eric Clapton is a very decent guy, and I'm enjoying this book a lot. He even gives you his views on the "Clapton is God" fan statement. This book is intelligently and thoughtfully written. I think it's a GREAT read.
