  • Fascinating and entertaining.

Having stumbled across the programme " Ru pauls drag race" one night, I was hooked ( incidentally I am a 54 year old woman with 3 children) Ru paul, camp as he is, is very enigmatic as both a man and a woman, but you could tell he had a rough journey to the top. I felt I wanted to know more about him. I like biographies anyway, but this one was a cracker! I couldnt get it here in GB, so I went onto aol.com and found one there. It's a fascinating insight to Ru Pauls life, and a testiment to his determination and vision that one day he would make it--against all odds--showing us all that if you want something bad enough, you wont stop until you get it. A fascinating story about a fascinating man.

  • RuPaul: Letting it all Hang Out

RuPaul, while not exactly the most poetic, or endowed with a large rhetoric has a very honest voice. He expresses himself well, as well as the hardships he endures and proves that even at your lowest you can still persevere. When you're reading this book, it's almost as if you're talking to the man himself which makes it very likeable and an interesting read.
