I purchased the plane for what I considered a reasonable price. When received, the plane was in better shape than it appeared to be in the photos. Shipping was very fast and was very well packaged for shipment. Would happily buy again from this seller. The only area for improvement would be in the shipping costs, which were higher than I have paid for other, larger and heavier items.

Thanks for the generally positive comments. I checked Ebay listings on comparable items, Stanley #45 plane with a set of cutters, and found only one listing with a slightly lower shipping charge. Some were more than double the charge, many even more. Please keep in mind that taking care with the packaging of a fragile item costs time and money. Heavier items tend to break less often when handled by the USPS.
