    The Best of Bernina

    The one of best machines Bernina has ever made prior to the current more complex models. A workhorse highly desired among quilters and others who sew. This model features an instant reverse button, needle down, basting stitches, automatic buttonholes, and knee lift to name a few. Rarely put up for sale and coveted by their owners.

    Berninas are the best!

    This is my third 1260 and they are glorious machines. Smooth, powerful, easy to use and an absolute workhorse. I'd recommend this to anybody at any skill level.

    Bernina 1260

    IMHO the best machine Bernina ever made. It is a workhorse and will last for 30 more years! It is just solidly made and simple to use and does everything a sewer could want

    Love my bernina which will probably outlive me.

    I love my Bernina 1260. I have a 1230 so I knew that there was not much difference between the two. I wanted an extra machine. It sews perfect. Even tho its 25 yr. or so old it is a workhorse and every stitch works to perfection. I can tell that the previous owner took very good care of it.
