Texas Hold 'Em players can test their betting skills against some of poker's biggest stars in World Series of Poker 2008 for Nintendo DS. The heart of the game is the Career Mode, where players build their bankroll in three distinct ways: tournament events, cash games, and heads-up challenges. The latter involves competing against six pros, from Johnny Chan to Phil Hellmuth, in a series of one-on-one matches. A Quick Play option is also available, allowing players to customize a game by setting the blinds, number of opponents, limit amounts, casino location, and more. Three difficulty settings influence the computer AI's skill level, while four training lessons are designed to help those new to the card game. Multi-card wireless support is also included for up to nine players.

    I like Poker

    I like to play Poker. It is a thrilling game to me,However, this game seems to favor the pro's who you play with . They always seem to get better cards than you will get from the chip program. I get madd at the game and want to throw the Ds game against the wall. One happy item about the game is : " I can restart the game any time". HA, HA, HA, HA ! Charlie JOHN 3:3 acme-antenna

    OK game..

    I was not too impressed with this game. I am not what one would call a "gamer" so I guess I wouldn't be the best person to review this item. It is very time consuming and not very challenging.

    Wife wanted this game so she could play poker. And that is what she does with this great game and i play with it also.

    Got it quick, it is a tough game. If you play poker it is pretty realistic.............................
