  • Audio book tapes "On Writing" by Stephen King

This is a great way to "read" a book by hearing it. The author himself narrates it,giving it a more vivid feel when being told. Only disadvantage I can think of is it is in audio tape instead of the more popular DVD, so I can only share it with someone who still owns the "fazing out" audio tape players. Otherwise a fantastic way to experience a book by the great storyteller himself.

  • On Writing....cassette

The cassette is read by Stephen King where he first describes his life from early childhood through becoming a prolific writer. His hardships in his childhood through college were instrumental in his development of becoming a writer. Throughout the rest of the tapes, he explains what is essential in developing your writing and gives examples from his various stories. He also warns of typical pitfalls that you should avoid. (Using too many adverbs is high on his list of don'ts) I will certainly keep this cassette to refer to from time to time and since it is read by him. Students would definitely benefit from listening to it.

  • On Writing, by Stephen King

I bought this book in paperback a couple of years ago, because I wanted to improve my writing skills. I never got to read it, because I got too busy. I decided to purchase it on eBay in an audio format so I could "read" it while working or driving. This was the best decision for me. I have completly read the book, and I'm preparing to read and study it again.

  • Wonderful book!

I bought this book because I needed it for one of my college classes. The book itself is practically new and the book is an amazing read. It is informative and funny at the same time.
